Advanced Planning Brief to Industry (APBI)

This announcement is released by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), Eatontown, NJ, to notify industry of an Information Technology Advanced Planning Brief to Industry (IT APBI) hybrid event on June 26, 2024. The purpose of the APBI is to offer informative briefing sessions addressing Agency acquisition and IT transformation initiatives and objectives. Several briefing sessions with VA leadership, including but not limited to, Mr. Michael Parrish, Chief Acquisition Officer and Principal Executive Director, Office of Acquisition, Logistics and Construction and Mr. Kurt DelBene, Chief Information Officer and Assistant Secretary for Information and Technology will be presented.

Cost & Registration:
There is no cost to attend this event or to view the live video stream; however, pre-registration is required. Attendees shall use the link below to register for either the in-person event or live video stream:

Presentation of email confirmation will be required at check-in. Registration is limited to two attendees per company for the live event and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis until capacity is reached.
Final date/time for in-person registration will be 5:00 PM EST Friday, June 21, 2024.
While pre-registration is required for the live video stream, there is no per company limit on registrations. All registrants completing the registration process will receive an email from Eventbrite containing the access link.
Please note there is a parking fee associated with Mason Pond Deck (Parking Services - Parking and Transportation - George Mason University).
Additional information will be made available at https://www.voa.va.gov, under Advanced Planning Brief to Industry 2024. Event agenda and FY24 year-end requirements, as well as FY25 first quarter contracting opportunities will be posted under the APBI Library prior to the event. The registration list, briefing charts and recording from the event will be posted within a week following the event.
This event will be videotaped. Registration constitutes your consent and release for public viewing.
