Overview
Following the completion of the 2026 Advanced Planning Brief
to Industry (APBI), the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Information
and Technology (OIT) is hosting Post‑APBI Virtual Networking Sessions for
vendors who attended APBI virtually. These sessions ensure that virtual
attendees receive an equivalent opportunity to engage directly with OIT senior
leadership, mission challenge presenters, and acquisition representatives.
This virtual networking series is designed to extend the
dialogue that began at APBI and provide targeted access to the eight Mission
Challenges presented during the event.
Purpose
The Post‑APBI Virtual Networking Sessions enable virtual
APBI participants to meet with OIT leaders and subject‑matter experts in an
interactive, live format. Each session is structured to allow attendees to ask
questions, receive clarification on mission priorities, and better understand
upcoming OIT initiatives and acquisition pathways.
Important Virtual Attendee Networking Notice
During APBI, the Mission Challenge Networking Session (11:00
a.m.–12:00 p.m. ET) was offered only to in‑person participants. To ensure
equitable access for vendors who joined APBI online, OIT is hosting this dedicated
virtual networking opportunity with senior leadership, focused on the eight
Mission Challenges presented during the event.
Mission Challenge‑Aligned Topics
Networking discussions are centered around the eight APBI
Mission Challenges:
